God loves you and we are glad that you have chosen Grace Presbyterian Church to spend time in worship with us.
The constitution of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) suggests that worship be ordered in terms of five major actions centered in the word of God (gathering around the word, proclaiming the word, responding to the word, the sealing of the word, and bearing and following the word into the world), but recognizes that “other orders of worship may also serve the needs of a particular church and be orderly, faithful to Scripture, and true to historic principles.”
Worship services at Grace Presbyterian are liturgical and filled with music. Our traditional service at 10:30 am on Sunday features wonderful music from our choir and Director of Music. The service includes children’s time and a thoughtful, Scripture-based sermon from the pastor. Child care is available.
Our “Come and See” service is held every Wednesday night at 7 pm. Come and See” is a gathering for worship, fellowship, outreach and service every Wednesday night at 7 pm. This is a very casual style worship. We often have some conversation or activities. Every 3rd Tuesday we have taco salad super at 6:00 pm. This worship is “intergenerational.” (That means we will plan on having children with us the whole time, i.e., No childcare!) Please come and be a part of this community we are building to reach the community with the love of God through lifting up Christ and loving our neighbors.

Q&A
- What should I wear? Come as you are! Many wear buisness casual type clothing. Some dress fancier, some dress more casual. Wear whatever you feel helps you worhship and give glory to God.
- What if I am running late? Come on in.
- What if my kids make noise? Ours do too! Kids are learning about the world and participate in worship in different ways. We believe kids are meant to worship with us. We have a “Grace Space” table with some fidgets, activities, and coloring pages. We also have some worship bags with the same if you want to sit somewhere else. During the school year young kids have Sunday school that happens during the second half of the worship service (during the sermon part). Kids learn how to be in worship by being in worship and learning about worship. We also have a nursery for children under age 4 staffed by background checked and trained volunteers in case you need it. Your children are welcome to participate in the way you feel most comfortable.
- Im not Presbyterian. Can I take Communion? You sure can! “The opportunity to eat and drink with Christ is not a right bestowed upon the worthy, but a privilege given to the undeserving who come in faith, repentance, and love. All who come to the table are offered the bread and cup, regardless of their age or understanding. If some of those who come have not yet been baptized, an invitation, when appropriate, to baptismal preparation and Baptism should be graciously extended.” (Book of Order W-3.0409) Here is more about communion in PCUSA congregations
- What if Im not sure what I believe? Presbyterians are all about exploring faith and asking questions. We don’t all agree about all aspects of our faith. We do all agree that we are called to love God and love one another. Come and worship with us and bring your doubts and questions. We will sit with them together.
