Thursday Spirituality Class
The Spirituality Class is a group of women that meet every other Thursday morning in room 109 from 10:00-11:30. Currently we are studying the book Live a Praying Life by Jennifer Kennedy Dean, the executive director of The Praying Life Foundation and a respected author and speaker. She has authored numerous books, studies, and magazine articles specializing in prayer and spiritual formation. Her book Heart’s Cry a primary resource for National Day of Prayer. Join us as we seek to understand prayer—its purpose, process, practice, and promise as we look at prayer through God’s view—His Word.
Join us in studying and practicing the spiritual side of our Christian experience. We share each other’s experiences, pray for each other’s needs and learn to communicate with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit as we walk our individual Christian Journeys.

Adult Vacation Bible School
Each summer, the Adult Education Ministry presents a week of evening classes for adults. Plans are underway for our Summer 2013 event.
The Adult Education Ministry meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend and share ideas about our current class offerings or suggest additional classes. Nancy Howland, Chairperson.
Adult Vacation Bible School
“Paul in Athens”
July 29 – August 2
6:00 – 8:30pm
The adults will be celebrating Vacation Bible School with the children of Grace and Westminster. This big event will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church on Monday through Thursday and conclude Friday with a party at Maverick Club on Pioneer Blvd with a picnic and swimming.
On Monday – Thursday, the adults will be joining the children for a meal from 6:00-6:30 and the opening activity from 6:30-6:45. The adults will then gather in the Youth Room for lessons about Paul from 6:45-8:15. Rev Craig Sanders and Rollin Phipps, a retired UTA professor of anthropology, will lead the lessons. At 8:15 we will rejoin the children in the Sanctuary for a closing celebration. On Friday, the adults are invited to join the party at Maverick Club.
